Saint John’s Ambulance Brigade Hanover, ON Medical First Response Volunteer. 2004 – 2006
• Routinely attended meetings to refresh upon medical procedures that we as citizens can perform with training allowed to us.
• Supervised various events in case medical attention was required.
• Participated in training seminars as an injured victim with specific injuries so that other St John Ambulance members could be tested on their knowledge and skill.

• Filled out forms for each patient we assisted and gave a recommendation as to how to treat themselves after they’ve left our custody.
Conestoga College Kitchener, ON Volunteer 2012 - 2013
• Part of the Respect Campaign, which helps students, be aware of the differences amongst themselves in terms of race, culture, sexual orientation, etc. This involves speaking to the student body, promoting, and leading by example.
• Trick or Treating for the Food Bank. This required students to go out for Halloween and collect non-perishable food for the Food Bank from various people in the area, usually door-to-door approach.
• College Open House. This was an opportunity to speak to potential students who had come to the college to learn more. My responsibility was to greet them and give directions/answer questions to the best of my ability.
• Orientation Leader. As a current student we are given the option to welcome new students to the school. I was given an opportunity to speak with new students to my own program and tell them about the challenges and opportunities available to them as I had experienced.
